Got a lot of big feelings? Me too. I used to spend a lot of time feeling terrified of them, so I ignored, downplayed or tried to “fix” them with pragmatism, sarcasm, logic - you name it, I tried it. (Hot tip, none of that made me feel better.)
Now I try to welcome big feelings, get curious about them, hang out with them, make space for them. This has led to me feeling way less scared, and way more whole. And (bonus!) the more we can do this for ourselves, the more we can do it for others. Let this series remind us of that.
