In my paintings, whimsical color palates meet structured geometric forms. This combination of soft and hard elements reflects the ways we must navigate our inner experience — between dreams and reality, order and chaos, hope and despair…you know, all of the life stuff.
These paintings create a physical and mental space where we can take a break from the tension of these dualities. Where are set free to experience the present moment in a powerful, replenishing way. The paintings encourage repeat meditative viewings, and, over time, will hold and grow meaning as we invest more of our time and attention in them. In other words, I have found these paintings help me grow, and grow along with me, and I hope they will do the same for you.
This series is about unexpected color combinations creating their own kind of harmony: an aspirational approach to togetherness.
